  • We have designed a simple finger prick based blood test that uses AI to predict gut profile and create custom probiotics. It is a simple test similar to finger prick for diabetes that can be done by the user at home. The blood samples that are collected on a DBS card are then processed in the lab using a gold standard test. Once the results are fed into our AI based predictive model, we are able to predict an individual's gut profile with more than 90% accuracy as a traditional genetic test would. The model would also help reduce the cost by ~90%. By being able to profile the gut microbiome affordably in a convenient, accurate fashion, we would be able to craft customized formulations for an individual user, to address the deficiency identified in his gut and restore gut health. This will be a data driven probiotic design personalized for each user.

Steps to get DPIIT startup recognition

    Choose “Startup Recognition”, describe your product or service, sector, and how you use technology. Upload incorporation documents, brief pitch deck or note, and supporting declarations.

  4. Department review & clarifications

    DPIIT may request clarifications on scalability, innovation, or documentation. Respond promptly through the portal — delays here are the most common reason recognition timelines stretch.

  5. Receive DPIIT recognition (DIPP number)

    Once approved, download your recognition certificate and note your DIPP number. You can then access Startup India benefits, incubator programmes, and schemes such as SISFS (subject to each scheme’s rules).

  6. Plan compliance & growth milestones

    Align GST, labour, and sector licences with your stage. If you are pursuing seed funding, keep proof-of-concept milestones documented — incubators evaluate traction alongside your recognition status.
