Overview

GST Registration for Sole Proprietorship is a mandatory compliance requirement for sole proprietors whose business turnover crosses the prescribed threshold or who fall under compulsory GST registration criteria. A sole proprietorship is the most common form of business in India, and under GST law, the individual and the business are treated as one entity, but GST registration is still required in the business name.
