Item barcodes
Add, auto-generate, and remove barcodes on an item, and mark a primary code.
Where barcodes live
Open an item (Items → open a row). The barcodes panel manages codes for that item.
Add or generate
- Add a barcode manually, choosing a type: SKU, EAN, UPC, or custom.
- Generate a barcode automatically when you do not have one.
- Mark a code primary — the main code used to identify the item.
Remove
Remove a barcode you no longer need. The item's other codes and its catalog record are unaffected.
