Quotations & proformas
Create quotations and proforma invoices and convert an issued quotation to a tax invoice.
Quotations
Open Quotes → New quotation. Build it exactly like an invoice (customer, lines, GST preview), then Save draft and Issue quotation when ready.
Quotations are non-revenue — they never count toward sales, tax, or receivables. They exist to price work before it is billed.
Convert to invoice
Open an issued quotation and click Convert to invoice. Billing creates a tax invoice from it and opens the new invoice so you can review and issue it.
Proforma invoices
Open Proformas → New proforma. Proformas are also non-revenue and follow the same draft → issue flow. Use them to request advance payment or for documentation before the tax invoice.
