The Other docs list
Other docs holds document types that are not invoices, quotes, proformas, or notes:
- Retainer invoice (RET-) — non-revenue.
- Sales receipt (SR-) — revenue.
- Delivery challan (DC-) — non-revenue.
- Custom operational types you defined — never post to books/GST.
Create one
From Other docs, start a new document and choose the type. Build lines and issue exactly like a tax invoice. Custom types you created in Document numbering appear here with their own prefix.
Labels
You can rename how retainer invoices, sales receipts, and delivery challans are displayed without changing the underlying type — see the label overrides in Document numbering.
